The Home Building Consultant Service provided by HR Johnson Homes involves management and supervision of the entire construction of a handcrafted custom home with the exception the homeowner controls the financial aspects of the Home Construction Process. In other words, the homeowner employs HR Johnson Homes as the Home Building Consultant to manage the Home Construction Process and the homeowner separately administers monetary payments to material suppliers, subcontractors, designers, and all other trades involved in the Home Construction Process or optionally, the homeowner may provide payment to the vendors and subcontractors through HR Johnson Homes. 

The management of the Home Construction Process is a multi-faceted and lengthy procedure involving the homeowner and the interaction between HR Johnson Homes and a large number of various material suppliers, subcontractors, and workers, as well as the expected involvement of architects, residential designers, interior designers, landscape designers, lighting specialists, bath and kitchen specialists, cabinet design specialists, realtors, financial institutions, title companies, surveyors, structural engineers, homeowner and land associations, State and Local Governments, and at times, the Federal Government (Environment Protection Agency) and Builder Associations and Councils that provide certain Green Building Certifications . Although this Home Construction Process appears unwieldy and full of twists and turns, the process is methodically coordinated with precision and care by HR Johnson Homes to lead to the creation and fulfillment of one’s dream home that becomes the center of family values and memories, pride and tradition, and investment and opportunity.

The decision of the homeowner to utilize the expertise of HR Johnson Homes as a Home Building Consultant is based on an array of factors including:

• Homebuyer control of the financial aspects of the Home Construction Process based on an itemized budget for transparency, flexibility, and homeowner reassurance.
• A custom home completely designed to the aspiration of the homeowner, without limitations and standard features, and then handcrafted by HR Johnson Homes with respective structural and trade warranties.
• A set percentage builder fee charged by HR Johnson Homes relative to the total construction (exclusive of the value or sales price of the lot) of the handcrafted custom home, and without builder mark-up fees on vendor products and services.

• As an optional cost saving measure, the handcrafted custom home is designed and constructed in preparation for future upgrades, aging in place, and accessibility.*
• Homeowner control of the building schedule relative to the Home Construction process through management of the financial aspects.
